What kind of adults do we want our young children to grow up to be?  Look at some of the world’s disasters.  There are not definitive solutions for these catastrophes so what kind of person do you want coming up with a solution when these disasters occur? Whose job is it to teach young children how to be problem solvers and how do you do this?  Who is going to think outside the box if we don’t teach them to? Who is going to be able to communicate with a variety of personalities if we are not educating are young learners to do so?

What about your daily life? Have you ever taken a moment to see all the skills you need and use to make it through just one day? So, how can we give young children hands on experiences that they will remember?  How can we teach them academics and life skills all at the same time?

STEM, STEAM, STREAM??? Which one do you like best? They all essentially have the same overall definition – Teaching our students a wide range of appropriate academic and life skills through hands on experiences.
