Clear Toothpaste!

Clear Toothpaste!

Posted by Janelle Pauldine |

Yes, everyone… they DO make a toothpaste that your kids can use and that won’t make you angry every time youtoothpaste-close-up walk into your kids’ bathroom.  Now, why they don’t promote this toothpaste to moms is beyond me but I came
across it accidentally as my kids and I were standing in the toothpaste aisle and I was staring (for what seemed like f-o-r-e-v-e-r!) at all the of toothpaste trying to decide on a reasonable compromise with my kids.

Now, my mission at this moment was to find a toothpaste that my kids could use that would not leave toothpaste gumped (I know that’s not even a word but I’m sure you know what I’m talking about), all over the top of the tube where it comes out.  My kids… I’m sure they had visions of a tube with superheros and princesses in mind.  So, when they pointed out this bottle, I thought why not give it a try?! (I actually was over it and figured what the hell? Can’t be any worse and I’m ready to get out of here!!!)  See the tube (or container) below.  By the way, no where on it does it say “clear” nor does it look clear on the little picture they have on the front.

When we got home, I didn’t think anything of it.  A few days went by and I remember thinking… Wow the kids are wiping out the sink really well after they brush their teeth.  This is when I mentioned something to my 6-yr. old and in turn, he pointed out, “Mom, our toothpaste is clear!” “WHAT?!” was my response and of course I went to check it out.  Sure enough. Clear! No real visible toothpaste in the sink and no obnoxious glumpy-ness on the top of the tube.  It was like 2-for-1 and I had no idea!

  • Tired of asking your kids to give the person in the bathroom a little privacy? Give them a place to stand while waiting their turn!!
  • Hot day with no clip or pony holder? Smart teachers use what’s on hand! Binder clips are good for more than holding papers!!
